Rules for Abstract Submission

Rules

• Registration for 53rd AOIWBCON is compulsory
• AOIWB Membership is compulsory.
• Candidate should sign the Declaration Form
• PGTs should submit Bonafide Certificate in the given format after signing by the HOD of the department
• Articles should be based on candidate’s own work pertaining to diseases of ENT
• The article must not have been published in any journal or read in any Conference
• Candidates, who have received an Award before, are not eligible to participate in that same category
• Last date for submission of scientific participation form and abstract on www.aoiwb.com or at AOI West Bengal Office: 10 March 2026.
• For Participation in Dr A M Saha Research Paper Award, the ful original paper has to be submitted in word format in a pen-drive at AOI West Bengal Office: 10 March 2026.
• Soft copy of the presentation in Microsoft Power Point format should be handed over in a pen-drive to the authorized person at the Preview Room on 14 March 2026 (Saturday). Video presentation should be submitted in mp3/ mp4 format. Al presentations and videos should be compatible with Windows 10. Presentation on personal laptop wil not be alowed.
• The Judges reserve al the rights to give judgement / Marks/ disqualify candidates. Their judgements are final and cannot be chalenged in any situation.

Major K K Ghosh PG Paper Award:

• Open to all ENT PGTs (DLO, MS & DNB)
• PGTs have to enroll their name as associate member of AOIWB
• Presentation Time: 8 min, Q & A: Questions will be asked by the judges only

Dr B K Roychoudhury Junior Consultant Award

• Criteria for participation: whichever of the following criteria fulfils eariler
  a) Candidates who have passed Post-Graduate (MS/DLO/DNB) and practicing in the field of ENT for less than 10 years
  b) Age should be less than 40 years
  - Participant should be a life member of
  - Presentation Time: 8 min, Q & A: Questions will be asked by the judges only

Dr Debasish Sanyal Senior Consultant Award

• Criteria for participation: whichever of the following criteria fulfils eariler
  a) Candidates who have passed Post-Graduate (MS/DLO/DNB) and practicing in the field of ENT for more than 10 years
  b) Age should be more than 40 years
• Participant should be a life member of AOIWB
• Presentation Time: 8 min, Q & A: Questions will be asked by the judges only

Dr Santanu Banerjee Competitive Video Session

• Open to all AOIWB members (Associate/ Ordinary/ Life Members)
• PGTs have to enroll their name as associate member of AOIWB
• Age no bar
• Video should be in mpeg/mp3/mp4 format compatible of running in Widows 10 computers. Recording of voice is not essential.
• Participants should submit abstract in prescribed format
• Presentation Time: 8 min, Q & A: Questions will be asked by the judges only

Dr P B Mukherjee E-Poster Award

• All AOIWB members (Associate/ Ordinary/ Life Members) are eligible
• ENT PGTs are eligible, but Associate Membership of AOIWB is mandatory
• Participants should submit abstract in prescribed format
• Candidates should submit Power Point Presentation in 10 slides for single case report and 20 slides for case series
• Presentation Time: 5 min, Q & A: Questions will be asked by the judges only

Dr S N Choudhury & Dr P Chatterjee ENT Quiz Award

• All AOIWB members (Associate/ Ordinary/ Life Members) are eligible
• ENT PGTs are eligible, but Associate Membership of AOIWB is mandatory
• Candidates should participate as a team of two members
• Candidates should submit application in the prescribed format.
• There wil be a preliminary round and 5 teams wil be selected for the Final Round
• The decision of the Quiz Master will be final

Dr A M Saha Research Paper Award

• Open to all AOIWB members (Associate/ Ordinary/ Life Members)
• PGTs have to enroll their name as associate member of AOIWB
• The original research work should not be published or presented anywhere else or copied from elsewhere
• Case report and video will not be accepted
• Research shall not be sponsored by anyone
• Participants should submit abstract in prescribed format
• Presentation Time: 8 min, Q & A: Questions wil be asked by the judges only
• The ful original paper has to be submitted in word format in a pen-drive at AOI West Bengal Office: 10 March 2026.
• The winner has to present the research paper. Presentation Time: 20 Min
• The Paper will be published in BJOHNS
• One certificate, one medal and Rs 5000/- in cash will be awarded to the Winner during the Annual Conference
